Embodied we experience life, therefore any field of human creativity can be influenced and transformed through an embodiment workshop.

The following will give you a basic idea of what hosting a workshop entails, please read this information and contact us. If you are interested to have a workshop in your area but don't want to assume responsibilities of a host you can still take an active role for example to suggest suitable venues and to spread the word. We look forward to hearing from you.

Promotion

The most important consideration for a host is their commitment to promote the workshop and their ability to use a variety of different promotional tools, unless they have existing committed interest. On our part we create a project for each workshop promotion and work with the host to accomplish the goals. Canceling a workshop can be very disappointing for interested participants and it is not an option we consider often.

Space / Facility

The ideal space has hardwood or cork floors, clear walls and no pillars, gym halls and similar spaces would work too. For 16 people we need approx. 1100 Sq ft. Each participant needs a mat and a stool/chair. The facility should have comfortable access to restrooms and HVAC regulation for the space.

Minimum participants and workshop fee:

The sum of Space rental fee and other hosting fees if any, establish a baseline to determine the minimum number of participants and in some cases a slight increase in the workshop fee per participant.

Schedule

It is a good idea to actively promote a workshop at least 4 months in advance. If there is committed interest, opening in our schedule and space availability, we can confim the dates and have participants register immediately. Once the workshop is scheduled and actively promoted, we review sign-up status 60 days prior to the workshop and determine if we need to explore other promotional activities. 30 days prior the workshop we do another review. Canceling a workshop should not incur any additional cost or penalties for us or the host.

Registration

If the host can provide online registration and has staff to take registration over the phone the host may assume all registration responsibilities while reporting bi-weekly the registrant information to us.
